Rufus Frowde has been Organist and Assistant Director of Music at the Chapel Royal, Hampton Court Palace since 2003. He was formerly Organ Scholar of Merton College, Oxford and Worcester Cathedral before undertaking post-graduate study in church music and choral direction at the Royal Academy of Music, being awarded prizes in both disciplines. Rufus appears on the Divine Art and Diversions labels and his numerous conducting appointments include Surrey Youth Choir and VIVAMUS. On the lighter side, he is a regular deputy pianist in the Palm Court Quartet at the Ritz Hotel, London. Alongside his conducting and playing he has recently become a part-time member of the academic staff at the Princess Helena College, Hitchin.
